The owner of this home Sarah Winchester thought that the building was haunted and so she designed this house in a way so as to confuse the spirits who come to haunt her .So she ordered that the house be always under construction and incorporated such odd features like a cabinet that passes through 30 rooms of the house and some doors which do not lead anywhere.
