Warli Art

Warli art is a 400 year old tribal art which had originated from a village called warli near Thane . It is a 2 dimensional painting work and has no specific angle or proportion.Warli painting looks linear with a lot of use of triangular shapes. Usually these paintings were done by married women. In almost all the artworks the cycle of birth and death was an inevitable subject.
